The Presbytery overlooks the Stour Valley with stunning views across the Dedham Vale countryside, an area of outstanding natural beauty, made famous by the Constable paintings.
The Presbytery adjoins The Church of our Lady Immaculate and St Edmund King and Martyr. The Church was originally built for Giffords Hall and its residents in the 1800's.

Outside you have about ½ an acre of grass and garden, after which the fence drops away into a small valley looking out over cattle meadows. The property is set on one of the tiniest lanes in Suffolk, about ¼ of a mile from Withermarsh Green, which has only two thatched cottages on it. The Presbytery neighbours a working Farm and Estate where there are often cows grazing in the surrounding meadows. During the Winter months, Shoots are regularly held so you may see local Hunts passing by. Although very remote, there are lovely walks straight from the door and some of Suffolk’s Best Pubs are only a 5 minute drive away at Stoke by Nayland, Polstead and Dedham. This is a really unique place, steeped in history that will appeal to people who want to get away and have some space and relax in style and comfort.
